Phillip Tetro
I have been in the construction field since I was 18. I have always been fascinated with building, growing up in a construction related family and watching every aspect of it since I was very small. I remember lugging bricks and mixing mortar with my dad, which was hard work, but at the end of the day it always put a smile on my face seeing what we accomplished. I started out framing houses, then moved to framing hotels and office buildings. I have also roofed and did sided many buildings.Through the years you finally think you would of learned it all, but that's never the case. Since teaming up with my brother in 2003 I have learned another side of the field. Finish carpentry, a very time consuming field of carpentry. With this knowledge of base board, fluted columns,raised and recessed panels, crown molding, building cabinetry, etc. which opened the partnership of Tetreault Custom Carpentry.
Brian Tetro
I started in the construction field when I was 20 eager to learn, fresh out of college. I had also watched construction in the family all my life, but I have always been into drawing and architecture, finish work is an extension of this love. I worked for a finish carpenter who had been in the trade for a while. He had all the tricks and taught me the right way to do things, you always have to cut at least twice! Off of this knowledge I started also doing the finish work on exteriors, and farmers porches for example. One of my strongest points is a challenging stairway, they are put together so tight there is almost no reason for caulking. I take my work very seriously and enjoy a complex task. Partnering up with Phil has made a perfect match for our company. We are a great team using our strengths to get the job done right.
