The oak panel on the wall off the kitchen is an old style "hidden" ironing board.
This is a part of an in-law apartment. This livingroom was actually added on to the main house.
Above, we built a nice and simple bench seat and coat rack. To the left is a custom shower in the new bathroom. The picture below includes a custom built computer nook in the kitchen.
